Wood Fence Types Crum Lynne, Pennsylvania

In the quaint community of Crum Lynne, Pennsylvania, nestled among the rolling landscapes of Delaware County, one can find a unique and charming feature enhancing the aesthetic appeal of many homes: lattice top fences. These decorative yet functional structures strike a delightful balance between seclusion and openness, providing privacy without creating a sense of confinement.

Lattice top fences are particularly favored for their versatility and visual interest. The crisscrossed strips of wood or vinyl that form the lattice pattern add an element of sophistication to any property boundary. This design not only complements a variety of architectural styles but also offers homeowners the opportunity to cultivate climbing plants, which further enhances the natural beauty surrounding their residences.

The construction of these fences typically involves a solid base for stability and security, topped with the intricate latticework that gives this style its name. Homeowners in Crum Lynne have embraced this trend, integrating it seamlessly into their landscaping designs. Whether stained to highlight the natural grain of wood or finished with crisp white paint for a more traditional look, lattice top fences serve both practicality and aesthetics with equal finesse.

It delineates personal space clearly yet encourages neighborly conversation through its semi-transparent design. As more residents opt for these elegant enclosures, they contribute to the distinctive character and harmonious landscape that make this Pennsylvanian locale so inviting.

We cannot say enough concerning Philz Landscape. One call and I connected with Pat. Angi provided me with several contractors, I received estimates but chose Philz Landscaping (even after coming in higher) because he satisfied with his estimate and start date our fervent desire to complete the project before winter set in. Alex, Javier set the example of professionalism in setting up the area to remove fencing and gate, installed vinyl fence with double gate (assisted by Carlos), removed all debris, left my yard spotless and we are extremely satisfied with the new fence and gate. Questions we had were answered (Helena, Phil) promptly and Alex, Javier went above and beyond ensuring my wife’s concerns were taken care of; I want again to Thank the team at Philz Landscaping and recommend highly to perform your project.

Had Phil and his workers come by my house to work on the backyard in May this year. Eliminate weeds, regrade soil and replant grass seed. 158 feet worth of backyard which he estimated $1600 to do. There was a hiccup with his office and scheduling and he wasn't even aware of the set date in mid-May. He rescheduled for the week after and took off $100 for inconvenience. His crew shows up and does the job and weeks after, grass grew....but not fully in corners of the yard. I called him back, voicemail immediately. Got in touch with his office and they said they would pass the message. His response times are atrocious and I told him about the patches in the grass. He says "no problem I'll send guys to evaluate and re-seed". They show up and do the job again. By mid-July, weeds are growing in very strong and grass is dying at exceedingly high rate despite me watering. I called him back and he says "that's odd, I'll come by this afternoon or tomorrow" in September when I finally get a hold of him. He never shows up or responds to texts or further calls. The photos below are post-lawn work with visible patches and weeds. I had to spend additional monies on top soil, grass seed and water to correct the loss of 50% of the lawn!! If you want an overpriced job not done right, Phil is your guy!!

Philz Landscaping built 2 patios on my property. One is flagstone and the other is pavers with a retaining wall. Both are absolutely beautiful. Working with Phil and his team has been a great experience. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliability, quality, and reasonable pricing.
