Wood Fence Types Crum Lynne, Pennsylvania

In the quaint borough of Crum Lynne, Pennsylvania, the topic of fencing may not dominate everyday conversations, yet among those who prioritize privacy and aesthetics in their home surroundings, board on board fences emerge as a subject worth discussing. These structures offer not only functional benefits—such as durability and seclusion—but also enhance curb appeal with their layered design.

Board on board fencing is characterized by an overlapping pattern where wooden slats are fixed alternatively on either side of central rails. This configuration ensures that no gaps appear even when the wood naturally contracts or expands due to weather fluctuations. Such meticulous craftsmanship guarantees a consistent barrier against prying eyes while providing homeowners with peace of mind regarding their personal space.

Crum Lynne's residential areas showcase these fences, reflecting the community's appreciation for both practicality and visual charm. With varying hues from cedar's warm tones to pine's light freshness, each fence can be tailored to complement individual homes while contributing cohesively to the neighborhood's ambiance.

The construction of board on board fences in Crum Lynne requires skillful hands; local craftsmen take pride in their work, ensuring every fence is robust enough to withstand Pennsylvanian seasons—from sweltering summers to frigid winters. The interlocked boards fortify the structure against strong winds, offering a resilient defense that lesser quality fences might lack.

Homeowners who invest in such sturdy enclosures appreciate not just the immediate gratification of enhanced privacy but also recognize these fences as long-term investments into their property value. A well-maintained board on board fence stands as a testament to care and attention bestowed upon one’s abode.

Conclusively, within Crum Lynne’s small-town milieu, residents understand that choices about home improvements reflect broader values concerning comfort and neighborly respect. Board on board fences serve as silent sentinels—guardians of quietude and beauty—in this tight-knit Pennsylvanian enclave.

We cannot say enough concerning Philz Landscape. One call and I connected with Pat. He met with us for a project which entailed removal of a partial cinder block porch with iron poles and remodeled an entire porch. We are pleased with the work performed. Angi provided me with several contractors, I received estimates but chose Philz Landscaping (even after coming in higher) because he satisfied with his estimate and start date our fervent desire to complete the project before winter set in. Alex, Javier set the example of professionalism in setting up the area to remove fencing and gate, installed vinyl fence with double gate (assisted by Carlos), removed all debris, left my yard spotless and we are extremely satisfied with the new fence and gate. Questions we had were answered (Helena, Phil) promptly and Alex, Javier went above and beyond ensuring my wife’s concerns were taken care of; I want again to Thank the team at Philz Landscaping and recommend highly to perform your project.

Had Phil and his workers come by my house to work on the backyard in May this year. Eliminate weeds, regrade soil and replant grass seed. 158 feet worth of backyard which he estimated $1600 to do. There was a hiccup with his office and scheduling and he wasn't even aware of the set date in mid-May. He rescheduled for the week after and took off $100 for inconvenience. His crew shows up and does the job and weeks after, grass grew....but not fully in corners of the yard. I called him back, voicemail immediately. Got in touch with his office and they said they would pass the message. His response times are atrocious and I told him about the patches in the grass. He says "no problem I'll send guys to evaluate and re-seed". They show up and do the job again. By mid-July, weeds are growing in very strong and grass is dying at exceedingly high rate despite me watering. I called him back and he says "that's odd, I'll come by this afternoon or tomorrow" in September when I finally get a hold of him. He never shows up or responds to texts or further calls. The photos below are post-lawn work with visible patches and weeds. I had to spend additional monies on top soil, grass seed and water to correct the loss of 50% of the lawn!! If you want an overpriced job not done right, Phil is your guy!!

Philz Landscaping built 2 patios on my property. One is flagstone and the other is pavers with a retaining wall. Both are absolutely beautiful. Working with Phil and his team has been a great experience. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliability, quality, and reasonable pricing.
